Texas Women's Foundation & Research

Texas Women’s Foundation, the research and advocacy arm of Dallas Women’s Foundation, focuses on issues that impact women across the great state of Texas. Texas Women's Foundation produces research studies and reports, and coordinates collective action.

Economic Issues for Women in Texas, examines the economics of being female in our state, as well as the critical building blocks necessary for women to achieve and sustain economic security. Looking at policies and practices at the state level, and then drilling down to highlight the differences and commonalities across nine Texas metro areas - Amarillo, Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston, McAllen, San Antonio and Tyler - the study identifies areas of opportunity where innovation and investment can help women and their families move from surviving to thriving.
